7.5 lb / 3412g Dugway Agate Geode Crystal. Size- 7.75" wide / 6.25" tall / 3.5" depth.Formed by Molten rhyolite creatihg hollow "lithophysae" or rock bubbles. As the lava cooled, minerals crystallized, and gas and moisture seeped through, depositing layers of chalcedony and agate. Eventually, quartz crystals formed inside. A beautiful display specimen.
