Art deco style polar bear from Latvian artist Maigon Daga. Daga studied in Austria and moved to the US in 1965. He lived and worked in Minneapolis, Minn. until his death in 2001. Maigon Daga was a Master Listed Ceramist.Features textured detailing. Bear is approximately 7 inches long X 4.5 inches wide X 5.4 inches tall. Total size is approximately 6 inches wide by 8 inches long and 6 inches tall (measurements including the marble). Signed on the bottom of white marble.
